"GET
ART MORE OFTEN"

Art Lab 123 is reaching out with postcards and tent cards!

When you attend an Art Lab event, you can get a postcard featuring one of these images.

Postcards highlight different projects of the Art Lab.

They also feature important figures that make Art Lab possible!

Image created by Dennis Jose, this is the first of many tent cards to come to send to friends and family for any occasion.

Come to our next event and pick up some free buttons!

The Urban Garden at Art Lab 123

Here are pics taken in late July 2012 after a couple of big

rains!  The Urban Garden plants ALL loved it and they love

 the sunshine too.

Many thanks to the UrbanGarden's planters': Mimi Clayton plus studio staff and friends Kevin, Sara, Luba and Maria. -- Enjoy!!

Squash are transforming from blooms to veggies almost as fast as I frame the shot. Wow!

This cantaloupe plant looks like it is in experiencing one of the best days of it's life! And it's not being slow to express itself.

Tomato plants flip on the "bloom switch."

These tomato plants in a De Canio 24" pressed-paper tube, are jumping for joy too. The UrbanGarden is in the courtyard of Art Lab 123 (and several other new Artist Spaces) created by the De Canio family within their construction supply company and light manufacturing plant to support the arts. THANK YOU DE CANIO Family of Chicago, and THANK YOU EDWARD, Building and Business manager, for having the vision to incorporate these new Artist Spaces into the facility that you manage.

Here's a shot of the Jane Albright mural in the Art Lab 123 courtyard. Our Studios are in the area behind the mural and the big tree. There are m-o-r-e Artist Spaces available in the large upstairs LOFT space behind the tree. The building is between Grand and Chicago Ave on California Ave.

Here's a "baby cantaloupe."

And here's a day or two old "Jumbo Watermelon."

Looks like the pepper plants and the melons are good neighbors.
Thanks for visiting the Urban Garden! If you would like to assist with garden, courtyard or studio events please call Dennis at
